Satkhira: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A K M Nurul Huda on Monday said that there is no scope of using (Electronic Voting Machine) EVM in the next general election.

"The process for holding the parliamentary election will start from October," CEC said this to journalist at a district circuit house.

Expecting his hope, Nurul Huda said that all parties would participate in the election.

Replying to a question about BNP's proposal of supportive government, he said that it is a political matter and the government will take this decision.

Some work in few constituencies is underway following administrative complexity, river erosion
over the issue.
