Nearly five alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists lost their lives in a gun battle by security forces during infiltration on Monday.

SP Vaid, Directer general of state police, wrote on Twitter, “Four were counteracted while infiltrating in Dulanja village in Uri on Monday.”
Vaid stated that it was a combined operation by police, military, central armed cop forces.
The gun battle started following five soldiers and three terrorists were attacked when terrorists entered a CPRF camp on New Year evening in south Kashmir. The suicide attack was carried out by JEM group.

“In the early gunbattle, three terrorists died and fourth one was counteract later,” an Army officer affirmed.
“The remains of the fifth terrorist was found during investigation.”
