DHAKA: A new reserve of natural gas has been found at Bheduria union in Bhola.
Cabinet Secretary Shafiul Alam said this while briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting at Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday (January 15).
He said that the news on the new gas reserve was informed at the cabinet meeting which was held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
A total of 600 billion cubic feet of gas (CFT) has been found at Bheduria, said the Cabinet Secretary
The Bheduria gas field may become one the largest reserve of natural gas in the country.
It was known that the Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited discovered a new gas reserve.
