OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. - Multiple people were hurt after a crash on Highway 10 in Otter Tail County at 12:31 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15.
Forty-six-year-old Jeffery Miron of Brooklyn Center, Minn. was traveling east on Highway 10 in the right lane next to a semi-truck in the left lane. Nineteen-year-old Alexander Splonskowski of Frazee, Minn. was also heading east on Highway 10 in the right lane behind Miron and had an obstructed view due to snow being kicked up from the the semi-truck. Splonskowski rear ended Miron at approximately 65 miles an hour, resulting in severe damage to both vehicles.
Road conditions were icy at the time, according to the accident report.
Miron was traveling with two other passengers at the time of the crash. Everyone in the vehicle was taken to a hospital in Perham to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Splonskowski was not hurt in the crash.
