Lions Club of Bokaro Thermal distributed rice packets and blankets among the poverty stricken people and the women from underprivileged sections of the community at club office, Bokaro Thermal, here on Sunday. 100 rice packets and 50 blankets were distributed among the needy, said club secretary Ln B. Laxaminih. The club president Ln UK Nair said that the selfless service being provided by the all members of Lions club of Bokaro Thermal. "It is heartening to see the members of the club’s dedication to protect the environment of thermal city and they were impressed to see that this lions club is focusing on the welfare of the human by distributing rice packets and blankets, a part from the regular services to this thermal city. While the life member of Lions club Ln Jogendra Giri said that all members were proud to be associated with the club.
"We recalled their long time association with the Lions club of Bokaro thermal and made an appeal to the locals and all lovers of Lions club of Bokaro thermal should extend all their support to Lions of Bokaro thermal."
