Swiss network supplier Cablex has announced a new organisational structure and three new members for its management board. The three new board members are Gilbert Granelli, Christian Rossi and Roman Kappeler.

Granelli has been at Cablex since 1 June 2013 and is now leading the Corporate Business unit, responsible for implementation of Swisscom projects. The core services of the business unit comprise network construction/expansion, maintenance and service. Rossi started working at cablex in March 2017. From 1 January, he has taken over management of the "Fiber to the street" business unit and thus the expansion of Swisscom’s optical fibre network FTTS/B in Switzerland. Kappeler has been working at Cablex since October 2014 as Head of Communications and joined the management board as of 1 January.

Under the leadership of Daniel Binzegger, Cablex has grown considerably since 2015. The company is adjusting its organisational structure so it can react to customer requirements without the need of any internal and external interfaces, resulting in more efficient order processing and facilitated cooperation with customers. The telecom business unit, led by Kornel Reutemann, offers services for telecommunications providers and suppliers.

The infrastructure business unit, led by Mathias Brand, concentrates on sustainable partnerships with major customers, offering complete infrastructure, which is developed, planned, implemented and also operated and maintained by Cablex. Customers also benefit from the transfer of knowledge from large projects and innovative projects, such as the "Ceneri base tunnel" and IBION.

Urs Ringgenberg manages the IT infrastructure and financial controlling, as well as supply chain management (purchasing and logistics).

Business Excellence, under the leadership of Robert Soldera, is responsible for business engineering, process management, quality management, quality assurance, the environment and security. This unit is now also responsible for adherence to standards, as well as property and facility management.

HR is led by Sandra Lange.
