Junior Jackson Hornung scored a goal and added two assists as Ashland (5-2-2, 3-2-2 TVL) won 5-1 over Dedham in a Tri-Valley League boys hockey contest on Saturday.
Sophomore Brett Erwin, senior Trent O’Connor and sophomore Jack Reat all had one goal. Junior Jack Merrill had a goal and an assist for the Clockers.
Ashland hosts Hopedale-Millis-Milford on Monday at 8 p.m.
HOLLISTON 2, DOVER-SHERBORN 0: Sophomore Cooper DeCristoforo had two goals as Holliston shut out Dover-Sherborn in a Tri-Valley League contest.
Seniors Tim Ringie, Will Fitzgerald, Jack Kober and Jack Wilkie all played solid defensively. Freshman goalie Nico Quatromoni had 25 saves for the Panthers.
Holliston hosts Medway on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
LINCOLN-SUDBURY 6, CONCORD-CARLISLE 1: Seniors Dan Desmarais and Owen Toland led the way offensively with two goals apiece in Lincoln-Sudbury’s (8-2, 6-0 DCL) win over Dual County League foe Concord-Carlisle.
Senior goalie Asher Cohen made nine saves on ten shots.
Sophomores Charlie Desmarais and Jack Reading both scored as well for the Warriors. Desmarais’ goal was his second of the season, while Reading’s was his first.
“Forecheck,” L-S coach Kevin Rich said of the difference maker. “We created a lot of turnovers and got a lot of turnovers and got to the front of the net.”
L-S next faces Central Catholic on the road on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
MARLBOROUGH 4, NORTH MIDDLESEX 2: Senior captain Joe Landry led the scoring for Marlborough with two goals and one assist as the Panthers (4-5-1) defeated North Middlesex in a non-league matchup.
The game-winning goal came from junior Tino Tizzarella with 4:42 left in the third period and junior Jerry McCarthy had the fourth goal to put the game away.
Junior Andrew Sullivan had an assist on both of the final two goals for the Panthers.
Junior goaltender Owen O’Brien had 25 saves.
LONGMEADOW 4, ALGONQUIN 2: Senior Nate Anderson had two assists in a non-league loss to Longmeadow for Algonquin (7-2) on the road.
Both of the Tomahawks goals were scored on the power play in the second period, the first coming from senior Sean Prendergast and the second from sophomore Henry Alford.
Sophomore goaltender Matt Bogdanski had 15 saves for the Tomahawks.
“It was just a real good battle with a real good team,” said Algonquin coach Greg Cappello.
Algonquin takes on Acton-Boxborough on the road Monday at 8 p.m.
GROTON-DUNSTABLE 3, HUDSON 1: Hudson (3-3-4) fell to Groton-Dunstable in a non-league contest.
Hudson hosts North Middlesex on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
SOUTH SHORE VOKE 7, TRI-COUNTY 5: Junior Brian Marchand scored two goals but host Tri-County (2-5-2, 1-4-1 Mayflower) fell to South Shore Voke in a Mayflower League game.
The Cougars led 4-1 after the first period and 5-2 after two periods, but South Shore scored five goals in the final period.
Freshman Bryce Dalzell had two assists and sophomore Jake Morgan, senior Connor Capobianco and senior Mike Burdett all scored a goal in the loss.
Freshman goalie Andrew Todd had 43 saves for the Cougars.
Tri-County hosts Blue Hills on Wednesday.

METHUEN 3, ALGONQUIN-MARLBOROUGH-HUDSON 1: Senior Angie Ferro had 47 saves in losing effort for Algonquin-Marlborough-Hudson (7-3-1) against Methuen.
Amy MacGlashing led the way offensively, scoring the only goal for A-M-H.
“Offense did a real nice job, we were short-handed battling the flu bug and we had six healthy forwards,” A-M-H coach Mike Hodge said. “… If you can have a good loss, tonight was it.”
A-M-H plays on Jan. 22 on the road at Longmeadow at 6:30 p.m.
BOURNE 2, DOVER-SHERBORN 1: Sophomore Julia McDonald scored the lone goal for Dover-Sherborn (2-8) in a non-league loss to Bourne at Martha’s Vineyard High.
McDonald’s goal came off an assist from classmate Alyssa McIntyre.
Freshman Kristen McCluskey made 36 saves on 38 shots.
“She’s killing it, she’s been standing on her head every game,” D-S coach Nick Grout said of McCluskey.
CONCORD CARLISLE 3, WAYLAND-WESTON 1: Wayland-Weston (1-4-1) fell to Concord-Carlisle in a non-league contest.
Wayland-Weston hosts Acton-Boxborough on Wednesday at 7:50 p.m.
