CELINA — Sydney Porinchok and Brooke Kleman won individual events to lead Ottawa-Glandorf’s girls swimming team to second place at Saturday’s Celina-Wapakoneta Invitational.
Celina cruised to the girls crown by a 264-176 margin over the Titans.
Lima Shawnee outscored Wapakoneta 405-370 for the boys crown. Ottawa-Glandorf was third with 285 points. Miller City was 12th with 33 points.
Porinchok captured the 100 butterfly (1:02.45) and was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.8). Kleman matched her teammate’s finishes by winning the 500 freestyle (5:55.48) and placing second in the 200 individual medley (2:24.32).
Seth Nelson was second in the 100 fly (58.22) to lead the Titans in the boys meet.
Zach Giesken finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:01.07) for Miller City.
