Farzi Cafe opens its third outlet in Mumbai

Massive Restaurants has opened its third Farzi Café in Mumbai at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon (E). Speaking at the launch, Zorawar Kalra, founder and MD, Massive Restaurants said, “The word ‘Farzi’ can have many connotations, but at Farzi Café, it has just one, that of creating an illusion with its cuisine. It is a first-of-its-kind Indian bistro concept, extensively using elements of molecular gastronomy offering a gastronomic experience. Farzi Café is for all those who love Indian food with their global favourites and are exploring experiencing the next level of Indian cuisine.”

An amalgamation of traditional Indian food with modern Indian flavours along with global cuisine, Farzi Café attempts to redefine Indian cuisine by mixing culinary art with modern presentations and cooking techniques like molecular gastronomy to absorb the guest into a unique Indian Bistronomie dining experience.
“Conceptualized to give an experience of dining under the large faux sunken boat surrounded by fluidic waves, Farzi Café at Oberoi Mall will show the homecoming in Mumbai with a fresh breeze of spatial design. Parametric design methods and computational techniques are used to design the waves and symbolising a restaurant under the Mumbai sea,” Kalra added.
The food menu is curated by Chef Saurabh Udinia, head chef, Massive Restaurants, which includes dishes like Ratatouille Gujia, Imli Sweet Chilli, Dal Gosht Open Tacos and the Lahori Chicken with Tempered Yoghurt. The signature beverage offerings include Chuski Margarita, Farzi Apple Foamintini and the entire Bunta selection.

Guests can also choose from a variety of soups and salads ranging from Cream Corn Chowder, Bhutta Fritters, Wild Greens, Paya Shorba, Chilli Garlic Rusk, Mushroom Falafel Donner, Charred Pimentos Coulis.
