Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) approved the final decision on IP interconnection. The draft decision was sent last November to the European Commission, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications and the national regulatory authorities of the other member states of the EU. Prior to that, the draft decision had been submitted to a national public consultation procedure and prior hearing of the interested parties. The EC pronounced that it had no comments.
