BJP state observer Sunil Deodhar said, "The tentative date of PM arriving in the state is January 31." He added, "Besides this, PM may come twice before the Tripura state assembly election."
PM Narendra Modi who last visited the state on December 2014 will be arriving in the poll bound state amid growing demand of the people and BJP workers who are eagerly wanting to meet him.
Besides PM Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Nitin Gadkari will also be campaigning for the saffron party in the state.
Speaking about their campaign plan, Deodhar said, "We are essentially focusing on development and will target the misrule of the left front government." He added: "We are getting good response from the people of this state."
