Arsenal sent huge warning over signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
ARSENAL have been warned against signing Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang has emerged as an Arsenal target to replace Alexis Sanchez, who is set to leave the club this month.
The Gabon international was left out of the Dortmund squad for the Bundesliga clash against Wolfsburg yesterday, stirring up rumours he could be on his way out of the club.
But Dortmund boss Peter Stoger claimed Aubameyang’s absence was for disciplinary reasons.
Liverpool legend Steve Nicol, who works as a pundit for ESPN FC, doubts whether Aubameyang would start in the Arsene Wenger's side at Arsenal.

If you’ve got a guy like Aubameyang who’s got disciplinary problems and he’s not playing, you’re asking for trouble
He reckons Alexandre Lacazette suits the Arsenal style of play more than Aubameyang and believes the £52million signing from Lyon will remain first choice.
That is despite Lacazette scoring just eight goals in his 25 appearances for the Gunners to date.
“The thing that worries me is why would they bring him in with, never mind (Olivier) Giroud, why are you going to spend that amount of money bringing somebody like him in who has a bad disciplinary record when things are going well and if he’s not going to play, which he won’t because for me you play Lacazette,” Nicol said.

“I think he suits Arsenal better than Aubameyang.
“Well he (Lacazette) is playing in a team that can’t create a chance, so regardless of what you’re name is on the back of your jersey, if you’re a centre-forward for Arsenal right now, you’re not going to be scoring a hatful of goals.
“But if you’ve got a guy like Aubameyang who’s got disciplinary problems and he’s not playing, you’re asking for trouble.”
Aubameyang has scored 21 goals in 23 games for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions this season.
