(MENAFN) Propertyfinder Group's recent study found Downtown Dubai along with nearby Old Town community to be the priciest areas to rent and purchase apartments.

The two areas were also found to have an average price of $580 per square foot for Downtown Dubai and $534 for Old Town, followed by Palm Jumeirah at $500, DIFC at $488 and Dubai Marina at $427.

The research showed Downtown Dubai to be the most expensive area, as an average worth of apartment per square foot is at $31, while the second most expensive area, Old Town, is at $31, followed by The Views at $29, DIFC at $27 and Dubai Marina at $26.
