Police: Men shoot into home

Two men are in custody after police said they shot at a home with a family inside, including three children.

The incident happened early Saturday morning on the 900 block of South 7th Street.

Jaque Simon and Devon Doss are facing a long list of charges.

Six people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

After the gunfire, one of the victims, who is the mother to the three kids, said she saw the two suspects running away.

Police said the suspects left tracks in the snow, leading to their home just a few blocks away.

The mother said she is shaken from this whole situation.

"I just want to know why. That's my only question. Why did they do this? Why did they not only uproot my whole life? But, now they've ruined theirs," the mother said.

No one inside of the home was hurt.

Both men are expected in court Monday morning.
