A colorful art project inspired by glass master Dale Chihuly has taken shape at Cambridge Intermediate School. Located above the front doors in the school's mezzanine, the display features thousands of plastic bottles cut and painted to resemble Chihuly's works. It started out as an art club project but expanded to the entire school. The main structure is a piece built with chicken wire then covered with plastic bottles cut in a spiral pattern and painted on the inside. This will be a permanent display at the school. Pictured are, art teacher Tahirih Gutelius, Baylon Rose, Cinjn Gibson, Gracen Kinnan and Cheyenne Bailey. The project was the idea of Mrs. Gutelius.
