Manipur Press Club observes foundation day

The 43rd foundation day of Manipur Press Club was held here today. Speaker Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Forest & Environment Minister T Shyamkumar attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Khemchand said that journalists have a big role in bringing good governance in the State and also electing a good member to the House.

He appealed to the media persons to take seriously the electoral behaviour of the State and change the present trend of election system to make Manipur a better State.
