‘Passion for entrepreneurship’ led Devendra to succeed against odds

When Devendra Singh Mander of Guna city was studying in High School, he had a passion for becoming an entrepreneur. He took a decision to become self –dependent through skill development as he had watched several persons struggling for jobs.

After passing High School Examination, Devendra obtained training in Computer Operator Programming Assistant from the Industrial Training Institute- Guna. After his return from the training in 2014, he found that a path to become an entrepreneur is not easy. Somehow, he started a shop by arranging a little money. The beginning was not easy, he faced few problems as the market was dominated by the big entrepreneurs, but he did not accept defeat.

Devendra continued his profession. Then one day, he got an offer for loan under the Mukhya Mantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana, on the condition that the loan will be provided to him, if he commits to pay the installment regularly to the bank. He grabbed the opportunity and took the loan of Rs 2 lakh with a subsidy of Rs 60,000. Devendra expanded his business with his hard work and since then his business is flourishing.

Today, his MP Online Kiosk is the well known name at Hanuman Chouraha of Guna City. Now, Devendra Singh Mander earns about Rs 20,000 per month after the expenses. Along with teaching computer to unemployed youths, he also undertakes works like railway reservation, pan card, driving license and money transfer.
