The first phase of Biswa Ijtema, the second largest Muslim congregation after the Hajj, will end on Sunday with Akheri Munajat (concluding prayer) in Bangla for the first time.
The munajat is expected to begin around 11am which will be led by Imam of Kakrail Mosque Hafez Mohammad Zobayer.
A large number of devotees are gathering on the Ijtema venue to join Akheari Munajat.
The first phase of three-day Ijtema began on Friday.
The second phase of Ijtema will be held from January 19 to 21.
