Report: Arizona Wildcats to hire Kevin Sumlin to be next football coach

The University of Arizona will hire former Texas A&M football coach Kevin Sumlin to replace the ousted Rich Rodriguez, according to multiple reports Sunday.

Reporters from Sports Illustrated, ESPN and Fox Sports have cited anonymous sources in their reporting.

Former quarterback and current Arizona analyst B.J. Denker, who was on staff with Sumlin at A&M as a graduate assistant, confirmed the report.

Earlier Sunday, it was widely reported that Ken Niumatalolo had declined UA's offer and would stay at Navy.
