Public intoxication: Dec. 31 at 1:11 a.m. Campbell Avenue and Second Street. A man was reported causing a disturbance and challenging others to fight. Police determined he was intoxicated and booked him into jail.

Vehicle burglary: Dec. 31. Foreman Drive. Someone broke the windows to a vehicle and stole a stereo.

Burglary: Dec. 31. West Hamilton Avenue. A window was smashed and shoes were reported stolen.

Residential burglary: Dec. 30, between 5 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. Highland Park Lane. An unknown person forced their way into a residence.

Stolen vehicle: Dec. 30 at 11:49 p.m. Union and Bascom avenues. A gold 2008 Lincoln Navigator reported stolen out of San Jose was located.

Residential burglary: Dec. 30 between 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Abbott Avenue. An unknown person entered a residence.

Public intoxication: Dec. 29 at 2:05 a.m. East Campbell and Central avenues. A man was observed by a police officer staggering down the street. The  officer and determined that the man was too intoxicated to care for himself and booked him into jail.

Theft: Dec. 29 between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. West Campbell Avenue. The license plate from a dark green 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

Stolen vehicle: Dec. 29 at 8:46 a.m. South Bascom Avenue. A black Honda Accord reported stolen in September was located.

Stolen vehicle: Dec. 29 at 7: 30 a.m. Shelley Avenue. A Honda Odyssey reported stolen out of Santa Clara in September was located.

Attempted burglary: Dec. 28 between 11:30 p.m. and midnight. East Hamilton Avenue. A person attempted to force open the doors to a business but was unable to open them.

Drugs: Dec. 28 at 3:13 a.m. Dell and Hacienda avenues. A woman in a vehicle was contacted by police officers. Meth, heroin, a meth pipe, hypodermic needles and shaved keys were found in her possession. She was booked into jail.

Public intoxication: Dec. 28 at 12:25 a.m. Orchard City Drive. Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person and determined they were too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was taken to a sobering station.

Battery: Dec. 27 at 1:16 p.m. South Bascom Avenue. Two people got into an argument and began fighting. One punched the other, causing a laceration on the mouth and a swollen jaw. The assailant was booked into jail.

Under the influence of a controlled substance: Dec. 27 at 12:18 a.m. Camden Avenue. Police officers responded to the report of a man causing a disturbance. Upon making contact with the man, police determined he was under the influence of meth. He was booked into jail.

DUI: Dec. 27 at 3:08 p.m. Campbell and Union avenues. A female driver collided with another vehicle. She began to exchange insurance information but fled when the other driver said she was calling the police. Police officers contacted the driver and determined she was driving under the influence. She was booked into jail.

Theft: Dec. 26-27 between 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. Bracebridge Court. An orange and gray Marin 21 speed mountain bike was reported stolen.

Vandalism: Dec. 26. East Campbell Avenue. A sign was marked with silver and black pen.

Hit and run: Dec. 26 between 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. South Bascom Avenue. An unknown driver in a vehicle resembling a red Jeep Cherokee backed their car into another vehicle, causing damage. The driver fled the scene without exchanging information with the other driver.

Public intoxication: Dec. 25 at 4:09 p.m. South Winchester Boulevard. A man was reported to be causing a disturbance. Upon contact with the man, police officers determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was booked into jail.
