RAB in a mobile text message said the real name of suspect Zahid is Mezbah Uddin, son of Enamul Haque and Tahmina Akhter of Comilla district.
The fingerprints of Zahid matched with national identity (NID) database of Mezbah, reports UNB.
Earlier on Friday, members of the elite force cordoned off 'Rubi Vila', 13/1 Nakhalpara, a six-storey building in Nakhalpara.
After exchange of gunshots, three militants including Zahid were found dead in the house.
