Junior hockey: Wilderness settle for weekend split

A night after dumping Minot in the opener of a North American Hockey League series, the Minnesota Wilderness were on the opposite side of things Saturday, losing 4-1 to the Minotauros at Northwoods Arena.

Keenan Lund scored in the first period, then Andrew Kangas and Rykr Cole followed suit in the second, when fast-starting Minot outshot the Wilderness 18-9 to seize control.

Michael Talbot of the Minotauros and Ondrej Trejbal of the Wilderness traded third-period goals.
