Depressed over suspected illicit relationship of his wife, a 35-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Budhwara under Talaiya police station on Friday. Police said that the deceased Mohammad Israr consumed poisonous substance after having fight with his wife.
The deceased consumed poisonous substance in the night on Wednesday after having a heated argument with his wife.
The deceased was rushed to Hamidia hospital where his condition worsened and later he died during treatment on Friday.
Police found that the deceased’s wife was speaking over phone with someone and he suspected that she had illicit relationship. The two used to have fight frequently over illicit relationship of wife.
The reason behind the suicide would be investigated and family members would be questioned.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. It must be written here that taleking on mobile often raises suspicion.
