Sanbornton woman killed in I-93 crash

CONCORD - A Sanbornton woman was killed early Sunday when she veered off Interstate 93 and struck a tree, New Hampshire State Police said.

Vicki L. Pillsbury, 50, was northbound in a 2012 Hyundai Elantra when she drove off the left side of the highway about 5:54 a.m., state police said in a release. The car hit the tree and spun, coming to rest facing southbound, according to the release.

Pillsbury was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. It was not clear what caused Pillsbury to veer off the road, they said.
