DEJAN LOVREN is captaining Liverpool for their Premier League clash with Manchester City, and Reds fans are not impressed.
Croatian defender Lovren has been drafted into central defence against City as Virgil van Dijk misses out with a tight hamstring.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has also handed Lovren the captain’s armband for the Premier League meeting, despite the 28-year-old struggling for game time in recent weeks.
Reds fans are not at all convinced by the decision place so much faith in Lovren, with some questioning whether they can bear to watch the action unfold at the Etihad.
