Gala Mall unveiled

HARBOUR City in Shanghai’s Lujiazui business center recently unveiled its shopping mall, Gala Mall, offering surrounding residents and office workers more entertainment options.

Apart from a variety of cafe shops, bakeries, restaurants and fashion brands, the mall is adorned with art pieces, such as sculptor Erwin Wurm’s installation work “Handbag” and “Drizzling” by Chinese artist Chen Wenling.

Setting on the former site of Shanghai Shipyard, the mall pays tribute to its roots of shipping culture, with other art pieces inspired by ships, created by Taiwan architect C.R. Lin and artist Wu Jianfu.
