EUREKA — The Eureka College men's basketball team won its 100th regular-season game since joining the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 110-101 victory Saturday over Iowa Wesleyan.
The Red Devils (11-4, 6-2) made history during the school's annual alumni celebration at Bollwinkle Arena. The school joined the SLIAC prior to the 2006-07 season.
Shea Feehan of Notre Dame scored 28 points to pass Michael Zasada (2006-10) for eighth place on Eureka's all-time scoring list. Feehan's 1,350 career points are the most by any Red Devil of the Chip Wilde coaching era (2007-present).
Peoria Christian graduate Dakota Bennington added 23 for Eureka, which won its seventh straight at home and stayed atop the SLIAC.
Brock Butler had 32 points and 10 rebounds for Iowa Wesleyan (2-13, 2-6).
