Firefighters provide assistance after a report of a lost hiker on Saturday.
A hiker lost east of U.S. Highway 101 was brought to safety Saturday afternoon by Cannon Beach firefighters.
Responding to the call at was Lt. Brian Smith and Firefighters Shaunna White, Josiah Norris and Levi Anderson. After determining coordinates, firefighters drove to an area close by to find the lost hiker.
