Liverpool are ready to rival Manchester United and Manchester City to sign Alexis Sanchez. 

The Daily Mirror claim the Reds are willing to splash the cash on Sanchez after selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £142million. 

While Manchester United have issued an ultimatum to Sanchez. 

Express Sport understands the Red Devils have set the Chile international a deadline of Friday for him to sign on the dotted line or they will withdraw their interest. 

Elsewhere, Chelsea’s hopes of landing Max Allegri to replace Antonio Conte have taken a hit. 

Juventus have told Allegri they want him to remain in charge of the Serie A side despite the interest from the Premier League champions.
