Australia are rebuilding their innings against England. Aaron Finch is playing the role of an anchor and has already scored his 9th century. While Finch has stayed at the crease as an opener, three wickets around him have pushed back Australia who were asked to bat after England won the toss and elected to bowl. David Warner fell early and though Smith looked good, he wasn’t able to convert the start. Travis Head was also removed early in his innings. England needed to tighten the screws at MCG but Finch is still out there and scoring some quick runs. England have been a successful team in the limited-overs format and have won matches with their aggressive approach. If they can put the disappointment of the Test series away, they can be very dangerous against Australia. The last one year has been a successful one for England in the ODIs while Australia have struggled in the 50-over game winning only five games last year.
