Winter returned with a vengeance on Friday and early Saturday, with more than four inches of snow falling in central Ohio and temperatures plummeting by more than 40 degrees.
And more snow is on the way.
An Alberta clipper weather system will sweep through central Ohio on Monday, bringing the possibility of up to three more inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Below zero wind chills will follow the snow on Monday night, and continue on Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
Sunday may be the best day of the next few because at least the skies will be sunny. The high temperature Sunday is expected to reach 19 degrees.

Slightly warmer conditions will accompany the snow on Martin Luther King Day, where the high should reach 29 degrees. Scattered snow showers will begin to fall Monday morning, with steadier snowfall forecast for the midafternoon, according to AccuWeather.
The snow will stick around for a while. Temperatures aren’t forecast to get above freezing again until Friday.
