Melissa Jo Rose Brighton Township Melissa Jo Rose, 50, of Brighton Township, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born October 10, 1967, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Binder. A Beaver resident all her life, Melissa graduated from Beaver Area High School in 1985, going on to serve in the U.S. Air Force with the Strategic Air Command in North Dakota. A caring person, loved by everyone she met, she had worked as an office manager for Dr. John Guzzetti in Vanport for over 15 years, and was a former member of the New Brighton Christian Assembly Church. Melissa will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of nearly 18 years, James A. Rose, Brighton Twp.; two sisters, Kathy (Jay) Swick, Brighton Twp., and Denise Smith, Beaver; two grandchildren, Caleb Andrew Andreozzi and Piper Rose; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and co-workers. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anita. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Sam DeMarco, Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Brighton Christian Assembly Church, 1810 Valley Ave., New Brighton, where full military honors will be given by the Beaver County Special Unit. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver.
