WEST HAVEN — One person has died and two others are in critical condition after a crash early this morning on Meloy Road, police said.
Police responded to Meloy Road at its intersection with Baker Street around 2:13 a.m., according to spokesman David Tammaro.
A preliminary investigation suggests that a Honda was heading south on Meloy Road and crossed over into the northbound lane, striking an Acura traveling north, Tammaro said.
No further details on the accident or the victims were available Sunday morning.
