Television hottie Gautam Rode, who shot to fame with Star Plus’ popular serial Saraswatichandra and has starred in a few successful male-dominated shows like Mahakumbh and Suryaputra Karn, among others, is all set to return to the small screen with a new show. If latest media reports are to be believed, the actor has bagged a new show, that is tentatively titled Mithi. According to some reports, Gautam was also spotted shooting the show’s pilot in Kashmir. Reportedly, the show is slated to go on floors later this year.
Jay Soni To Become A Father Soon
Jay Soni, who is best known for his characters in Star Plus’ Sasural Genda Phool and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, tied the knot with Pooja Shah in a small ceremony in 2014. Well, here’s a good news, the couple is expecting their first baby. Jay, who found love in an arranged marriage, is all set to join the ‘Daddy Cool’ bandwagon. Sharing a picture of himself with his dearest wifey, who is flaunting her baby bump in the picture, on his Instagram handle, an elated Jay announced that he is all set to become a father. Reportedly, the baby is due in April.
Rithvik Dhanjani Quits Shilpa Shetty’s Super Dancer 2
Actor and anchor Rithvik Dhanjani, who was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, has been hosting Shilpa Shetty’s show Super Dancer Chapter 2 but the actor had to bid goodbye to his show, which he has been hosting since 2 seasons. Reports suggest that Super Dancer Season 2 was supposed to bid adieu in January but the channel decided to extend the show since it received a great response. However, Rithvik had given them dates only until January and post which he is shooting for Karan Johar’s India’s Next Superstar. Therefore, the actor had bid adieu to Shilpa Shetty’s show midway.
