The long running threads, primarily the Trump, Referendum and religion threads but also others, are generating a *lot* of reported posts. Time and again it's the same names cropping up either doing the reporting or being reported.
I for one do not have the time to pick back through thousand-post threads ascertaining who's in the right between "he said she said..." So it stops, as of right now. We cannot possibly moderate these threads effectively, we don't have the resource.
Please treat your fellow man with respect even if they are being an arse. The forum T&Cs are very clear on this.
If we get one more reported post of someone being a bellend on these threads, irrespective of who's guilty or innocent I'll blanket ban all the big hitter parties for a month and to hell with collateral damage.
