New Delhi, Jan 14 (IANS) The visit to India by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "historic and special", Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday, soon after receiving him at the airport here.

"Welcome to India, my friend! Your visit to India is historic and special. It will further cement the close friendship between our nations," Modi tweeted.
