Arsene Wenger has issued an update on the future of Alexis Sanchez.
The wantaway forward was left out of the Gunners' matchday squad against Bournemouth this afternoon, intensifying speculation he is on his way to one of the Manchester clubs.
Manchester United are now clear favourites to sign Sanchez.
And speaking before this afternoon's tie, Wenger said: "He’s been vague at the moment, his situation is not decided one way or the other so I left him at home."
Asked if a resolution, one way or the other, was imminent, the Frenchman added: "Yes, but don’t read too much into it because even I don’t know what way it will go.
"You want to focus on the players who are on the pitch who can do well for the club."

“I think every player has a price”
Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho has hinted Henrikh Mkhitaryan may be on his way out of Manchester United.
The Armenian has been touted as a potential makeweight in any deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
Mkhitaryan is out of favour at Old Trafford and could favour a move to London to revive his career.
And when asked about the winger, Mourinho didn't deny the rumours of a potential exit.
"It doesn't matter who he is. It doesn't matter the level. It doesn't matter the prestige, the status. I think every player has a price," he said.
"And I am not the kind of blind manager - blind in the sense of, this player is untouchable, can never be sold.

Malcom is close to completing his move to Arsenal.
That is according to the Manchester Evening News.
The 20-year-old winger is highly rated by the Gunners, with a number of top European clubs also interested.
Manchester United and Tottenham have been linked with the Brazilian.
But as Arsene Wenger prepares to lose Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal appear to have beaten their Premier League rivals to his signature.
The Frenchman played down a potential move on Friday, but the Manchester Evening News claim a transfer is close to completion.
