LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp will be extremely disappointed with Loris Karius’ failed attempt to save Leroy Sane’s equaliser for Manchester City today.

Those are the thoughts of former Liverpool midfielder turned Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness.
Karius was a surprise inclusion in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI for the visit of Premier League leaders Manchester City.
It was just the German’s fourth appearance in the league this season, with Simon Mignolet more often preferred between the sticks.
After Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gave Liverpool the lead, Sane fired in at Karius’ near post and Souness was not happy.
He sees it, just be strong, whatever you have to do to stop it ending up in the back of your net. Disappointing goal for Liverpool
“(I would be) extremely (disappointed as a manager),” Souness said.
“A goalkeeper should not be beat their on the near post, simple as.
“Sane’s hit it with some venom, he really has caught that, takes it early as well.
“Shuffles a yard to the left of (Joe) Gomez and lets it go and does get a lot of power behind it.

“But I’ll come back to it; it’s not come through bodies, it’s not gone between legs.
“He sees it, just be strong, whatever you have to do to stop it ending up in the back of your net.
“Disappointing goal for Liverpool.”
Liverpool went on to win the game 4-3 on a dramatic afternoon at Anfield.
