Girls high school basketball: Leipsic remains unbeaten in PCL

COLUMBUS GROVE — Leipsic outscored the host Bulldogs 20-14 in the third quarter on its way to a 59-54 Putnam County League girls high school basketball victory Saturday.

Carlee Siefker (18), Peyton Henry (13), Kierra Meyer (13) and Heather Lammers (10) all scored in double digits for the Vikings (12-1), who improved to 4-0 in the PCL. Meyer also had eight rebounds.

Carlee McCluer had 17 points and Rylee Sybert and Teyah Sautter scored 12 each for Grove. Angel Schneider had five rebounds also for the Bulldogs (6-7, 1-3 PCL).

Leipsic outrebounded Grove 33-26 and committed 12 turnovers while the Bulldogs had seven.

Fort Jennings 31

PANDORA — The host Rockets outscored the Musketeers 12-5 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.

Kayla Ferguson had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Paige Fenstermaker scored nine for P-G (3-8, 1-2 PCL), which won the rebound battle 27-20 and committed 25 turnovers compared to Fort Jennings 15.

Kristen Leursman had 11 points and Madison Neidert scored nine for the Musketeers (1-12, 0-3 PCL).

Bath 59, Delta 55 (OT)

BATH TOWNSHIP — The host Wildkittens are the first ones to defeat Pike-Delta-York High School (11-1) this season.

Lindsay Singhaus (16), Chandler Clark (15), Jaidyn Hale (13) and Elyssabette Andrews (11) each scored in double digits. Singhaus had 10 rebounds and Andrews had nine boards. Bath (11-3) won the rebound battle 28-24 and committed 16 turnovers compared to Delta’s 19.
