The Crestview junior scored 36 points Friday night in the Bulldogs' 75-53 victory against Niceville, one night after going for 36 against Pace.

Behind Purcell, the Bulldogs are rolling. Crestview has won three straight to move to 13-3. The Bulldogs play Fort Walton Beach at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Fort Walton Beach.

The Eagles snapped the Knight’s modest three-game win streak Friday, tying a season-high scoring output with three goals.

Alicyn Grete scored Rocky Bayou’s lone goal in the contest, and Rominey Wilner had 11 saves.

“It was worth it,” Knights coach Brian Alldredge said. “It helped expose weaknesses that are not evident against an easier team. Good preparation for our district tournament.”

Rocky Bayou moves 9-4-1 on the season. The Knights play Booker T. Washington at 6 p.m. Monday in Pensacola.

South Walton 2, Mosley 1

Tanner Kotowske and Adrian Legaspi netted goals Friday night for the Seahawks to extend their win streak to three games.

The victory moves South Walton to 7-3-1. The Seahawks play Arnold at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Panama City.

The Seahawks move to 12-2 on the season Friday and host county rival Walton at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Fort Walton Beach participated at the Southeastern Pools Invitational on Saturday in Alabaster, Alabama, placing six wrestlers in the top 15 of their respective weight classes.

At 106 pounds, Weston Burbidge (10-17) placed 14th and scored 0.00 team points.

At 113 pounds, Brandon Mallin (13-14) placed 9th and scored 4.00 team points.

At 120 pounds, Sterling Glover (6-9) placed 12th and scored 3.00 team points.

At 160 pounds, Eddie Alexis (7-9) placed 11th and scored 5.00 team points.

At 170 pounds, Nick Woodward (20-6) placed 6th and scored 38.00 team points.
