14-year-old shot at SW Houston park, rushed to hospital

A 14-year-old boy in southwest Houston was shot and taken to the hospital Saturday evening, according to the Houston Police Department.

The condition and identity of the teen, who was taken to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital, was not released.

Homicide investigators were called to the scene at Haviland Park in the 11600 block of Haviland, according to a tweet from the Houston Police Department.
