69.6 kg ganja seized; 5 peddlers held

The Khajuripada police on Friday arrested two persons while transporting 60.3 kg of ganja by a Bolero. The arrestees were identified as Narayan Sahu of Kendupadar and Budhilal Digal of Premajhari.
Earlier on Thursday, the police had arrested three persons while transporting 9.3 kg of ganja by an auto rickshaw. The arrestees were identified as Samgram Digal of Khandupadsr, Nilamani Ganda and Sarat Digal of Barikumpa.
Police said all the peddlers were forwarded to court. The value of the seized ganja was estimated to be Rs five lakh, the police added.
