ST. PAUL, Minn.—The Minnesota Vikings are painting the town purple in preparation for Sunday's divisional playoff against the Saints. They're asking fans to show their support by lighting their houses purple, too.

On Friday, Jan. 12, seven landmarks displayed purple lighting: the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the I-35W bridge, the ISD Center, the Lowry Avenue Bridge, the Mall of America, the Nicollet Mall and Target Corporate.

Even the newly lit Grain Belt Beer sign got in on the fun.

The Vikings will host the New Orleans Saints at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at the U.S. Bank Stadium in a divisional round game of the NFC Playoffs.

This will be the 33rd meeting between the two franchises in a series that began in 1968, according to the Minnesota Vikings website.

With Minneapolis hosting Super Bowl LII Feb. 4, those who bleed purple are begging the Viking gods for a miracle: a Super Bowl championship on their home turf.

The Viking's "Bring It Home" campaign will help involve fans in the hoopla. They put together a video with cameos from the Minneapolis and St. Paul mayors, current and former players and other community leaders.

Fans who post their own "Bring It Home" videos on social media by using #BringItHome will be entered to win a pair of tickets to Sunday's game. The winners will be announced Saturday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m.

"Bring It Home" rally towels will be on every seat inside the U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday and T-shirts with the logo will be available for purchase at the PrimeSport Vikings Longhouse outside the stadium. All proceeds will benefit the Vikings Foundation.
