ALBANY TOWNSHIP — Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a Friday crash that injured a 65-year-old Avon man, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Gary Harren was driving on Stearns County Road 154 near 207th Street, northeast of Albany.
He drove his truck into the northbound ditch, corrected back on to the roadway and then crashed into the southbound ditch. The truck rolled over on to the driver's side and received extensive damage.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a report about the crash at about 9:45 p.m. First responders found Harren trapped in the truck, but they were able to safely remove him from the vehicle. He was wearing his seat belt.
Harren received minor injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
