Bus driver found murdered in Habibganj area

In Habibganj area the body of a bus driver was found late on Thursday night. The deceased had left the house to search his son. Police said the deceased’s head was crushed with a stone.
According to the police, Mahipal Singh Uike, 45, lived with his family at Saibaba Nagar. He worked as driver on a minibus. On Thursday evening he came home after work but his elder son Naveen was not at home. After dinner he left home to search his son. Late in the night his body was recovered from near Paras City. The deceased was identified on the basis of documents recovered from him.
According to the police, the deceased’s head was crushed with a stone. Police are yet clueless about the murderers or the motive behind the crime. The deceased used to leave home early in the morning and arrive home late in the evening and so he did not have dispute with anyone.
Talked with wife for the last time
Mahipal Singh Uike talked with his wife over mobile at 11.30 pm. Shortly afterwards he was murdered. Police suspect he could have consumed liquor at a shop of country-made liquor and possibly he picked up quarrel with someone there. This could have resulted in his murder. Police are also checking his call details.
Police suspect someone close to Mahipal committed his murder. Police said Mahipal was murdered on the same road through which his son was returning home in the night. Police said investigations are on in the case.
Son killed father by hitting him with a stone
A 42-year-old man has been arrested by the Piplani police station for killing his elderly father by hitting him with a stone. Santosh Bhilala killed his father Sevaram Bhilala by hitting him with a stone on the head on Wednesday.
After the incident the accused had fled from the place. The accused’s elder brother Ranjit Singh Bhilala informed the police about the incident.
The deceased lived along with his three sons in Anand Nagar. On Wednesday, he had a dispute with his youngest son Santosh Bhilala. Santosh, who was allegedly in inebriated state, hit his father on the head with a stone. Sevaram Bhilala died in the incident. Ranjit’s wife was at home when the incident happened.
Accused’s wife along with his children had left his home a week ago due to regular fights at home. The cops nabbed the accused on Friday morning in Gandhi Market. The reason behind the murder is not yet known. Investigations are on.
Girl blackmailed
A youth extorted Rs 3 lakh from a girl after threatening to make her objectionable photos viral. When the girl was fed up of blackmailing she informed the police.
The girl hails from Lucknow, UP. Earlier she worked with an NGO in Gurgaon, where she met one Annu Saini, resident of Hardoi, UP.
As the two developed closeness, Annu clicked some indecent photos of the girl. Later the girl quit the job with NGO and started working with a private bank. However, Annu started blackmailing her.
The girl gave him Rs 3 lakh but the youth continued to harass her and pressed her to marry him. The girl then left her job and came to Bhopal. The youth also came to Bhopal and came to the girl’s house at Neelbad, Bhopal. When the girl’s family learnt about this they informed the police. Police have registered a case and launched search for the accused.
Fraudsters duped people by obtaining details of their bank accounts
Crime branch police have nabbed two Bihar based youths involved in duping victims by obtaining details of their bank accounts and transferring money from their bank accounts.
According to the police, the two miscreants were identified as Ravi Kumar Gupta (24) and Rajesh Kumar Gupta (19) from Madhubani Bihar.
Regarding their modus operandi, the accused said that they used to contact victims randomly from morning till night and would trap the victim.
In a single day 1-2 victims were trapped and they would receive money in their bank accounts after which they would get their share and remaining part was provided to the gang leader.
The two told police that the gang is led by Munna Baranwal (36) of Jharkhand. Based on the information search for the main accused has been started. The accused Ravi runs a mobile recharge voucher shop, while Rajesh owns a cosmetic shop. The police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and section 66 of the IT Act. The accused would be questioned regarding other crimes.
The action was taken after a complaint was lodged with the crime branch by Gokul Prasad of Bajaria. In his complaint the victim stated that on October 14, 2017 he had received a call from the miscreant who posed as SBI official and stated that his ATM card had expired and requires to be renewed, and obtained the details of the bank account and money was deducted after providing the details. Police have started further investigation and search for the kingpin has been intensified.
