Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana will become Role Model for Country: CM

Rs. 64.03 Crore Bhavantar Amount Distributed to 32,309 Registered Farmers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said that youths possess immense power. There is no task in the World which youths cannot accomplish. Youths can perform miracles, if they get sufficient facilities and opportunities. They can bring laurel to the family, state and the country.

CM Chouhan was addressing the Yuva Diwas Samaroh and Bhavantar Yojana programme on the occasion of Swami Vivekanand Jayanti at Chhindwara today.

Certificates of difference amount (Bhavantar Rashi) worth Rs. 64 crore 3 lakh 43 thousand 279 were distributed to the registered 32 thousand 309 farmers and the amount has been deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers by pressing an electronic system button by the Chief Minister Chouhan under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana.

He performed bhoomi poojan and dedicated schemes costing Rs. 24.58 crore and distributed cheques of loan and subsidy amount besides certificates of various schemes to the beneficiaries.

In the beginning Chouhan performed gou- poojan and kanya poojan. He said that girls are like Devis in Indian Culture. Give respect to the daughters like son. Moreover, he informed in detail about the reservation made for the girls in the government jobs and said that the Act, passed in the Assembly to give capital punishment to the culprits involved in heinous crimes with the girls has been sent to the President for aaproval.

Mentioning to make the agriculture a profitable occupation, in context to the Pench Diversion Scheme, he informed that the area of the irrigation will be increased by conducting a survey regarding Micro Irrigation by examining this project.

Moreover, Chouhan mentioned that impressed by the success of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, teams of Center and other states are visiting states to obtain information about this scheme.

Keeping in view the benefit of the farmers, this scheme will become a role model for the entire country. Chouhan stated that the farmers were getting loans at the rate of 18 percent interest earlier, now interest free loan is being provided to the farmers by gradually reducing the interest rate besides 10 percent agriculture subsidy.

While Informing about the financial assistance given during the natural calamities, progress about the Pradhan Mantri Awas yojana and future action plan, Chouhan mentioned that activity to prepare meal under the Take Home Scheme will be given to the women self-help groups for women empowerment.

Beside loan facility, guarantee against loan will be provided to them by constituting a women federation. About Rs. 250 crore will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers under this effort.

Chouhan said that stitched uniform will be given to the students now. For this, employment will be provided to the women through federation of women self-help groups and about Rs. 250 crore will be deposited in their bank accounts for this activity also.

Chief Minister’s Gifts to Chhindwara

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a special package will be given for road connectivity in the villages under the Chhindwara Municipal Corporation area. All these villages will be connected with pucca roads by this year end.

He further told to give land pattas to the landless persons, for laying gravity pipeline from Kanhargaon to Chhindwara and for constructing model road from Lalbagh to Narsinghpur road till Dharam Tekri.

Moreover, Chouhan made announcement of Rs. One Crore for construction of sports grounds in rural areas, to initiate process for construction of stadium in Chhindwara, Rs. 5 crore for repair of old roads and asphalting.

Moreover, Chouhan told the officials to make village Bhulamohgaon, which comes under the Pench Diversion Project’s Submergence area as revenue village by solving the rehabilitation problem and to open primary and middle school in this village.

While making announcement for opening of Horticulture college in Chhindwara, he said that efforts should be made to bring Chhindwara ahead in sanitation, development and education sector. Present such an example of Chhindwara’s development so that the citizens of the district besides entire country feel pride about it.

The Chief Minister Chouhan lauded Deendayal Rasoi being functional under the Deendayal Rasoi Yojana at Chhindwara and also dedicated roti making machine costing Rs. 3.50 lakh here. He also presented I.S.O certificate to Godhuli Ashram and Deendayal Antodaya Rasoi on the occasion.

Chouhan inaugurated the campaign being carried out to take signatures on 1100 meter long cloth for women’s dignity and safety and released post card of Swachchta Survekshan 2018.

Ramesh Dubey, Natthan Shah Kavreti, Vice President Jila Panchayat Shilander Raghuvanshi, President Municipal Corporation Dharmendra Miglani, Chairman District Cooperative Central Bank Marotrao Khavse, President Krishi Upaj Mandi Sheshrao Yadav, Chairman Agriculture Permanent Committee of Jila Panchayat Smt. Manvati Shah Ivnati, President Nagar Panchayat – Piplanaranvar Raju Parmar.

Other Public Representatives beside eminent citizens and people in large number were present in the programme.
