More than $2 million in prizes will be up for grabs in this season's Charles Chocolates Dancin' Dynamites competition, which is being staged under the theme 'Clash 13, Cut and Clean'.

This season, Dynamites will draw and randomly select a card with Clash 13 each week. They will have a one-minute face-off against a group that is not in the competition, for a chance to win $13,000.

A prelude to Clash 13 took place during the launch of this season's competition at Limelight Entertainment Complex, Half Way Tree, St Andrew.

Fantastic Steppaz, having emerged the top team to face off with Citi Dancers, brought the nostalgia and memories of last season, as both shattered expectations in their effort to steal the show. Citi Dancers emerged with battle scars, but ultimately, they also secured the edge over their rivals, winning $13,000 and adding another star to their crown.

Roxanne Brown, brand manager, Charles Chocolates, said the performances are the epitome of what the competition represents.

"This is the level of dynamism, energy and passion that we want to see in the competition, and I'm happy to see the teams put on such a fantastic show to represent the theme for this year," she said.

The audition shows for this year's competition start today at the Bargain Village, May Pen, Clarendon.
