The boss, the owners, the staff, his team-mates and the fans.
The good news for City is that the feeling is mutual.
And that means the brilliant Belgian, 26, plans to spend the rest of his top-flight career at The Etihad.
De Bruyne faces Liverpool at Anfield as the early frontrunner to be Footballer of the Year.
There is a new contract on the agenda and he said: “I made the right decision in coming to City and my family feels the same, so everything is good.
“The team is going in the right direction and that is also important.

“I always say in football that a lot of things can happen very quickly but I’m very happy here and the people at the club know that.
“I’ve no feeling to go anywhere else and I enjoy being part of the project here and playing the kind of football we are playing.”
De Bruyne gives having a proper break last summer as an important factor in his form this season.
That is something he will not get this year, when Belgium are expected to make a strong challenge at the World Cup in Russia, with one of their group matches being against England.
But he says of this season: “I feel good and it makes a difference having a good break before the season starts.
“I don’t ever really remember having a good break before a new season. This time, I had four weeks, which was massive for me.

“That helps you feel re-energised. You don’t get a lot of downtime as a footballer and before this season, I’d only been having two weeks in the summer to rest, so that was good.”
When City signed De Bruyne from Wolfsburg two-and-a-half years ago for £54million, it seemed a huge fee for a player who had failed to make an impact at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho, now in charge of the Blues’ neighbours, Manchester United.
Even the German club’s Sporting Director, Klaus Allofs, described the offer from City as “astonishing”.
But as fees continue to rocket, it is now looking more like a bargain.
De Bruyne was named last week in UEFA’s team of the year, with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard the only other Premier League player to be selected.
And City legend Dennis Tueart believes De Bruyne will be the main man at The Etihad for years to come.

Tueart, a former City player and director, said: “I see him at the club long-term – for the rest of his career effectively.
“The club are looking to extend his contract into the 2020s. He’ll be the cornerstone of the team for the next five years.”
Tueart played alongside another City great in former England midfielder Colin Bell. And he said: “Kevin reminds me of Colin. I would have to say he’s not as good in the air as Colin was but when you look at everything else...
“To start with, De Bruyne is two-footed in that he is comfortable using either foot to shoot or pass.
“And he has better vision than Colin. In that respect, Kevin is phenomenal.

“He has that ability to pass the ball to a team-mate without actually looking at him. He’s aware of where people are and can pick them out.
“That’s the sign of a real world-class player. I played with Franz Beckenbauer at New York Cosmos and he had that ability.
“It’s called seeing the big picture and De Bruyne certainly does that.”
Liverpool, arguably, have lost their main man with the £142m sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
But City have still got theirs and De Bruyne will take centre stage as the league leaders look to extend their unbeaten run to 34 domestic games.
