After seemingly averting the protests of the Rajput communities across the country, the makers of Padmaavat are now set to release their film, over a month after its original release date. After receiving a U/A certificate, the makers have locked a release date of January 25, 2018. The makers are now set to take forward the promotion, and they with two weeks remaining to the release of Padmaavat, the makers will be releasing the last video song of the film.

Unlike most Sanjaya Leela Bhansali films, this film will not be rich with video songs, with the two of three intended songs already released in Ghoomar and Ek Dil Ek Jaan. And now, the makers are set to release the song starring Ranveer Singh in his avatar of the nasty Alauddin Khilji. Confirming the development, a source close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier told Zoom, “While all the other Bhansali films are heavy on songs, Padmaavat is being treated differently. The film only features Ghoomar, Ek Dil Ek Jaan and Khali Bali. While the former two have been released, the last one, featuring Ranveer as Sultan Alauddin Khilji, will release soon. All the other songs (if any) might be used in the background. Bhansali himself has scored the music for the film like he did for his previous movies, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani.” ALSO READ: Deepika Padukone – Ranveer Singh – Shahid Kapoor Starrer Padmaavat’s New Poster Out

With the release date of the film nearing, we’re hoping the Rajput communities don’t cause further troubles leading to loss of human life and property. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is touted to be his best work yet by those few who have seen it.
