Heartwood Senior Living Center, 500 Heartwood Drive in Crosby, was under lockdown Saturday morning following a serious incident in the facility, law enforcement confirmed. The area around the senior center was barricaded by The Crosby police department and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.

Crosby police chief Kim Coughlin stated she intended to host a press conference to provide additional information concerning the incident.
